it comes all too easy, all too easy to avoid thought. to avoid thinking from multiple perspectives. all too easy to avoid empathy or a moral equilibrium. true empathy is the vicarious experience of another’s suffering. to completely understand the position of anything is to completely understand ones-self. a task we all seem to struggle with on a daily basis and a task that seems evermore tiring in a self-destructive, commercialized ideal of living and an ultra-extreme capitalistic world we have come to create by means of desire and human nature. obsessed with individualism and driven by a paradoxical belief in man and god(s), human masses become increasingly subdued by their own intoxicants, allowing for decay with morality at its very core.
